Soundproofing

Our fixed double-glazed glass partitioning can provide soundproofing of 40-44dB.  When inside the room, ambient office noise is entirely blocked out, and when outside, conversations are practically inaudible. This makes it ideal for private conference rooms.

The maximum acoustic rating we can achieve with one of our double glazed systems is 54dB (Rw). On one side, the offset profile accepts 15 - 17.5mm glass, while on the other it accepts 10-14.8mm glass. It can also be customised with a variety of glass alternatives.

Insulation

Double glazing is made up of two panes of glass. The air pocket between the two panes creates a seal against airflow, reducing the heat that can pass through. Even better, our double glazing is fixed on a slender 30-40mm aluminium track, which eliminates gaps and further cuts down on heat loss.

The result? Your office stays warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, meaning you don't have to turn on your heating or AC for as long. This saves you money on your office energy bills, and helps shrink your business’s carbon footprint.
